CA manufacturing jobs take another hit in September

California lost another 4,700 manufacturing jobs in September 2011, according to statistics released this week by the state's Economic Development Department. On the flip side, the state's unemployment rate also finally slipped below 12 percent, for the first time in a year, to 11.9 percent.
