February employment numbers bring more concern for California's economy

Here's the updated statistics:

Since 2001 California's declining sectors average $63,000 salaries while expanding sectors average $44,000

Since 2001 California's public sector has grown by 163,700 jobs while its private sector lost 235,000 jobs

And most of the gap appeared since 2007

Since 2001 California has lost 523,500 manufacturing jobs, representing almost 30% of its industrial base
