JOB SUMMARY:
CMTA is seeking an Accounting Manager to be responsible for the accounting and financial functions of the company, its for-profit subsidiary and political action committee. This will include financial statement preparation, oversight of cash flow analysis and projection, budgeting and forecasting and the review and reporting functions associated with federal grant administration.
This individual will report to the president of the association, provide regular input to the board of directors and oversee the work of several individuals who perform various accounting functions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 5-10 years of Accounting experience
- B.S. Accounting, C.P.A. strongly preferred
- Background in Non-profit, Audit, and Federal Funding required
- Previous management experience strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication
