Earlier this year, CMTA launched the MFG Makers and Breakers List to highlight legislation that supports (Maker) or hurts (Breaker) California manufacturing investment, technological innovation or job creation. The original lists included a combined 28 bills that represented significant positive and negative impact for California manufacturers.

We are pleased to report a 80 percent success rate on getting MFG Makers to Governor Jerry Brown’s desk. Equally positive news on the MFG Breakers with only one-third of the bills passing the Legislature as priority bad bills for California manufacturers.
