Manufacturers to feature 3D manufacturing at Legislative Reception
Jan. 30, 2017 The California Manufacturers & Technology Association (CMTA) will feature a 3D manufacturing printer at its Legislative Reception on Wednesday, February 1st from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at CMTA's offices at 1115 Eleventh St. in Sacramento.
3D manufacturing is something many have heard about but have not seen in action. The 3D or "Additive" manufacturing industry is poised to change the landscape of manufacturing supply chains and processes. Now you can see how it works firsthand, as an expert in the industry and teacher from Sierra Community College and Hacker Lab will be creating products in the middle of the reception.
Last year CMTA hosted 160 guests including dozens of legislators, several appointed officials from the Administration, and manufacturing representatives.
This year's sponsors include Tesoro, International Paper, Chevron, Honeywell, General Dynamics/NASSCO, American Chemistry Council, and Caterpillar.
Attendees can RSVP to Geri Royer at 916-498-3330 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
