Below, you'll find summaries of the propositions on California's ballot with links to the pro and con campaigns, an article on the oil tax initiative, and last year's voting records for California's legislators on manufacturing and technology bills.

Only 4.39 million of California's 22.54 million eligible voters (less than 1/4) voted in the June 2006 Primary. If you'd like to get your employees registered to vote and also inform them about issues that affect their company, employment and industry, you can direct them to  www.CaliforniaProsperity.org.  The goal of the California Prosperity Project is to increase voter registration and participation in the elections process among California's workforce.  California's new voter registration deadline is October 23.
