Electricity demand-response seminars being conducted across the State

In preparation for the coming summer, many CMTA member companies are conducting electricity demand-response seminars for California's large industrial consumers.  These programs are designed to increase awareness and help large users find ways to conserve and get paid for doing so:

A "lunch and learn" seminar to increase public awareness and educate business leaders about the benefits of Cut Back California – in terms of providing electric grid reliability and economic development through payments to businesses.
Speakers include Joseph Semerad, Program Manager, San Diego Gas and Electric (SDG&E), Joseph Lyons, Energy Policy Director, California Manufacturers & Technology Association (CMTA), Paul Tyno, Vice President and Director of Business Development, Energy Curtailment Specialists, Inc.
