The AB 32 Implementation Group, a broad business coalition led in part by CMTA, is hosting a reception on Tues., Nov. 27 at 3:00 p.m. in Sacramento.

The coalition is a positive voice in the regulatory and legislative process following the passage of AB 32 (The Global Warming Solutions Act, Chapter 488, Statutes of 2006, Fabian Nunez, D-Los Angeles) to ensure that the required greenhouse gas emission reductions happen while protecting jobs and the economy.

You are invited to attend and hear about coalition accomplishments, meet staff from the California Air Resources Board, learn about major initiatives from CARB leadership, and help finalize plans for education, advocacy and outreach for next year.  Key CARB officials are slated to attend, including executive officer James Goldstene and program planning and management chief Edie Chang.

The meeting will take place at the California Chamber of Commerce, California Room, 1215 "K" Street, Suite 1400.  RSVPs should be sent to Amy Datwyler
