CMTA President to opine on State plan to move algebra standard to 8th grade

On Monday, August 18 at 11:00 am, CMTA President Jack Stewart will participate in a 30-minute online live interview with Sacramento's ABC affiliate Channel 10 regarding the State's recent policy to move our algebra standard to the 8th grade.

Stewart will focus on the limits this policy will put on career exploration and the consequences of moving algebra I standards from 9th grade to 8th grade.
