Capitol Weekly has announced the Top 50 of its annual "Top 100 Major Players" list.  CMTA's Dorothy Rothrock was ranked 48 in the prodigious index.

CMTA is indeed fortunate for Dorothy's service and is the beneficiary of her hard work. CMTA is delighted she has been recognized for her influence in California's legislative and regulatory processes.

CMTA President, Jack Stewart praised Dorothy's recognition:

"Dorothy diligently represents manufacturing interests with a respect for all opinions, seeking first to understand all sides of the issues.  Her tireless work, deep understanding of policy impacts on competitiveness, and keen ability to bring parties together are unmatched.  Dorothy's leadership on AB32 implementation issues is an outstanding complement to her commitment to manufacturers and the California economy.  CMTA and the manufacturing community have benefited tremendously from her ten years with the Association.  Congratulations to Dorothy and her entire legislative team.

CMTA also sends a special congratulations to CMTA contract lobbyist, Shari McHugh of McHugh & Associates, who ranked 27.
