You can still join your friends and colleagues July 21-23 at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Newport Beach for the California Coalition on Workers’ Compensation’s (CCWC’s) 8th Annual Workers' Compensation Policy Conference.

This year’s program includes the following "hot" topics: medicare set-asides, defending direct and indirect stress claims, occupational medicine and claims, fraud and workers' compensation, FEHA/leave of absence, the latest on Almaraz/Guzman and Ogilvie cases, and the state of workers' compensation in California. Roundtable forums provide an opportunity for attendees to discuss presentations, share best practices, and ask questions of workers' compensation experts. Continuing education credits are available.

Cynthia Leon, CMTA’s Director of Workers’ Compensation, is a CCWC executive committee board member. CMTA members receive CCWC member-discount rates. To see the agenda and register: Note that the Hyatt is sold out, but an overflow block has been reserved at the Balboa Bay Club & Resort, 3 miles away, with complimentary sedan transportation and taxi service at $8-10 each way.
