Please take 5 minutes to answer our Manufacturing Competitiveness Survey. Your response will help state lawmakers understand how you view the regulatory climate in California.  We have 500 respondents so far but we need thousands to make a substantial impact.

We made a splash with our first release of results.  See the L.A Times piece and the OC Register piece.  We hope to build on that momentum.

Regulatory issues burden manufacturers and can lead them to expand and hire employees elsewhere. We've lost 34 percent of our manufacturing job base in the last decade and California ranks last in recent per capita manufacturing growth compared to other states.

California policymakers and regulators often have little understanding of what it takes to operate a business in the state. They don’t know which California policies help or prohibit your company's growth. They need your feedback.

The results will be aggregated. Your personal and company information will NEVER be used. The data (again, no names or company names) will be used regularly with our legislature and media as a barometer of our state's manufacturing competitiveness. Make sure your company's issues are heard!
