The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) has noticed their intent to list Titanium Di-Oxide (TiO2) per the Proposition 65 Labor Code listing mechanism.  OEHHA will be doing so with a qualified listing that focuses on “airborne unbound particles of respirable size,” which is an attempt to be responsive to the IARC monograph regarding carcinogenicity and industry’s concerns.  The public notice began a 30-day comment period on the listing that will close on June 27th.
