California loses more manufacturing jobs

California lost another 4,400 manufacturing jobs in the month of June, even though the state's unemployment rate decreased from 10.8 percent to 10.7 percent after adding 38,300 overall jobs.  The state continues to lag the nation in manufacturing growth, as seen in the chart below.
