The California Manufacturers & Technology Association has published its 2012 annual manufacturing vote record.

To assemble the vote record we take bills with the largest impact on manufacturers that reached both the Senate and the Assembly. Then we rank each of the 120 legislators with a manufacturing percentage according to his or her votes on the critical legislation.

This year no one scored a perfect score and, conversely, no one scored a zero percent. Both are firsts in the many years that CMTA has been doing this.

Also we have more moderate Democrats than before, with 12 of 77 receiving scores above 60 percent.

Republicans showed an excellent commitment to manufacturing employers and workers with 38 of 43 Republicans scoring above 60 percent.
