CMTA president Jack Stewart will partner with the Milken Institute's Kevin Klowden on a keynote panel at the Southern California Advanced Manufacturing Expo this Thursday at 12:15 p.m. PST in the Anaheim Convention Center.  The panel will address exporting issues primarily, but Stewart has been asked to provide perspective on the competitiveness issues that California manufacturers are facing.

If you would like to attend the expo and/or the keynote panel, CMTA has negotiated a free admission for its members to attend.

CMTA members can register HERE and use the code "PG" to get free admission.

Here are the details on the overall expo:  Under one roof, the Southern California Advanced Manufacturing expo is the most comprehensive manufacturing event in the largest manufacturing hub in North America. In the most recent event, attending manufacturers met with 2,200 exhibiting companies, (holding more than 139,500 face-to-face meetings), networked with peers and saw the latest new products and services to make their manufacturing facilities more profitable and globally competitive.

The event is a co-location and merging of the following individual manufacturing tradeshows:

  • Medical Device Manufacturing (Highly regulated manufacturing and parts)
  • Pacific Design & Manufacturing (Design, Components, Assembly)
  • WestPack (Packaging Machinery, materials, supplies, services)
  • Electronics West (Electrical/Electronics)
  • Automation Technology Expo (Automated manufacturing)
  • Sustainability in Manufacturing (Socially responsible manufacturing)
  • SensorTec (Sensors)
  • Plastec (Plastic manufacturing and fabrication)
