CMTA's Environmental Conference will again be held in San Diego this year at the Paradise Point Hotel & Resort on Mission Bay in partnership with the Industrial Environmental Association (IEA) and the Chemical Industry Council of California (CICC). The sessions will begin at 8 am on Tuesday, November 5th and extend until Noon on Wednesday, November 6th. The CICC, as in the past, will host a reception the night before (Monday, November 4th) beginning at 6 pm for all conference participants.

Our conference has been the largest environmental conference held in California, with approximately 400 attendees. This year’s theme is "Tell Me What I Should Know!" We are looking for additional sponsors and exhibitors – details will be mailed to all CMTA members within the next week.

A wide range of prestigious regulators, legislators and experts on a variety of topics are attending and speaking. We intend to cover such issues as: air regulations, AB 32 compliance, cap and trade, water quality, the new industrial stormwater requirements, energy, green chemistry, Proposition 65, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), sustainability and Certified Unified Program Agencies (CUPAs) compliance. Awards for environmental excellence will also be presented.

Save-the-date. More information will be available soon.
