Fresno County Supervisor Juan Arambula, the Greater Fresno Area Chamber of Commerce and CMTA will hold the largest Manufacturing Summit yet on Monday, December 8th at 1:30 pm in the Fresno County Supervisors' Chambers. A packed house of local officials, manufacturers and media will comprise the Fresno portion of a statewide effort to regionally engage local representatives, media and manufacturers on the high costs of doing business in the state and the severe impacts of a deteriorating manufacturing job base.

As part of the Manufacturing Summit Series, Merced, Santa Clara and Alameda counties have already held regional summits and other regions are scheduled for the future, such as Contra Costa, Orange County and Stanislaus counties.

Our message is simple: More high wage manufacturing jobs will be lost and the state will not recover without dramatic growth in the manufacturing and high tech sectors. That growth is impossible without policies to reduce the costs on business in California.

Please use the link below to rsvp online (no charge) and attend this very important manufacturing summit. We need you to attend, as well as share your story during the half hour allotted for comments from the audience.
