Schwarzenegger Holds Work Comp Press Conference at Los Angeles Manufacturing Facility

On March 19th, CMTA praised California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger for taking his campaign for workers’ compensation reform to the plant floor of a Los Angeles manufacturer, Ace Clearwater Enterprises – a complex aerospace materials manufacturer that has been hit hard with 117 percent workers’ compensation rate increases over the last three years.

The Governor toured the facility and then held a press conference where he highlighted the need to implement workers’ compensation reform and signed his own petition to put a workers’ compensation initiative on the November ballot if a legislative proposal fails.
