The 3rd Annual IEA/CMTA Joint Environmental and Regulatory Issues Conference and Exposition is scheduled for December 2 and 3 at the Marriott Mission Valley in San Diego. (The conference will be preceded by a golf tournament on December 1st.)

This year's conference promises to be the best yet. The conference will be geared toward making environmental and government affairs executives cognizant of pending governmental and regulatory issues rather than delving into highly technical solutions.

We anticipate approximately 400 participants with respected speakers from federal, state and local government, the environmental community, industry, and think tanks as well as experts in government affairs.

On the first day of the conference, there will be four separate tracks running simultaneously: water quality, air quality, environmental sustainability and hazardous materials. Member companies with concerns in more than one area should consider sending more than one representative.

On the second day, there will be seminars on liquid natural gas, biotech, plating industry pollution prevention and emerging political issues.

We have a very good conference rate at the Marriott of $99 a night, but only through Tuesday, November 2nd.....so members should book their rooms now! This city fills up.
