Voter Opposition to Special Election Growing

According to a just released field poll, opposition to a special election is growing. Presently, 57% oppose and 30% support the idea of holding a special election in November. This is up from 52% in June and 45% in February opposing. When the costs of holding the election are cited, opposition grows to 63% while support stays at 30%. In addition, 57% support the Governor calling off the special election.
