CMTA is pleased to welcome Sean Maguire as the newest member of the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB). Sean was recently appointed to the Board by Governor Brown, filling the vacancy as a result of former Vice Chair Steven Moore’s departure to work as General Manager of the Ross Valley Sanitation District.

Maguire has served as a supervising water resources control engineer at the State Water Resources Control Board since 2017, where he was senior water resources control engineer from 2015 to 2017. He held several positions at Kennedy/Jenks Consultants from 2003 to 2015, including water resources practice leader, senior associate engineer and senior staff engineer. Maguire is a member of the Groundwater Resources Association of California. This position requires Senate confirmation. Maguire is a Democrat.
